RECKLESS KISS by Tia Louise: Release Blitz, Teasers & Mary’s Review

Sometimes a story is so perfect that you can not help but fall in love with it. Reckless Kiss was that for me. It is a bit of an insta-love story, flavored with a dash of Romeo & Juliet, add to that a whole lot of smoking hot chemistry, with a dash of forbiddenness. One of the coolest things about RK was that it was written in the area of Texas that I grew up in…!! lololol Kidding aside, Deacon and Angel are like soulmates and together there is nothing these two could not conquer!!

Angel’s mother had died, and she was sent to live with her Aunt in Texas. Missing not only her mother but the mountains in Mexico where she had grown up, she was sad and lost. It was at high school that she literally ran into Deacon. An encounter would change their lives forever. From the first piercing look into each other’s eyes they were left spellbound. It is with their first reckless kiss that Angel and Deacon become consumed with the other.

Deacon grew up not wanting for anything. While Angel came from a family of humble means. But none of that mattered to him. He was totally devoted to Angel and wanted nothing more than to make her his wife. Angel on the other hand wanted nothing more than to be his wife. Yet, she also knew that her family did not want her to see him… though she never really understood why. The million-dollar question is what happened to cause this? Through the years these two had always managed to find ways to be together and fueled the love they had for each other. They loved each other with everything they had. Deacon was an amazing lover and would do anything for Angel. So when Deacon was not around, Angel had always found solace in painting …. just like her mom had before she died!

It was when Angel’s brother returned to be near the family in Texas that things became complicated. With her brother now back in town Angel found out that he was assuming the role of guardian of her. His house, his rules!! But this did not stop Deacon and Angel from seeing each other. You could not help but admire Angel’s spunk either. She was so strong minded and determined that her brother would not rule her life. Even with her family warning about a grudge between her family and Deacon’s she was still as determined as always for them to be together.

Deacon became more insistent on meeting her family so when the time finally came all his hope went downhill fast. Bento’s blinding hatred for Deacon’s family made him see red. Forbidding them to see each other anymore was the least of it. What Deacon did next was make promise to his love that he would move heaven and earth to fix this problem. But would he be able too?

Reckless Kiss is so full of angst, emotions, and suspense it will keep you on the edge of your seat!!
