He told me to ‘settle, girl.’
He asked if ‘something was wrong with me?’
He said I was an ‘easy target.’
That was within minutes when I first met Caden Banks.
I labeled him an *sshole, but he was more than that. Arrogant. Smug. Alpha.
He was also to-die-for gorgeous, and my stepbrother’s fraternity brother.
Okay, yes I was a little naive, a tad bit socially awkward, and the smallest amount of stalker-ish, but if Caden Banks thought he could tell me what to do, he had another thing coming.
I came to college with daydreams about being with my stepbrother, but what would happen if I fell for the anti-stepbrother instead?
MARY’S 5 STAR REVIEW
After reading several Stepbrother books I wasn’t really sure where Tijan would go with Anti-Stepbrother. Also, never having read a book by Tijan before I was doubly in the dark. Holy moly was I in for a surprise…this book was absolutely amazing! From the first page to the last I could not flip the pages fast enough. And OMG the banter and the angst! Gah!! Oh and I was Team Caden all the way!
Sumer Stoltz was entering college at the same University that her Stepbrother, Kevin, was attending. A little history first, Summer had crushed on her Kevin in high school, before the marriage of her dad to his mom. Even after becoming her stepbrother he still stole her heart and entering college at his school would let her win his heart too.
Once Summer got to college nothing went as planned. In fact, her stepbrother turned out to be a man-whoring jerk. Someone who dated and broke hearts. Going to a party at his frat house made it even more apparent that her feelings were not reciprocated. Yet she still couldn’t turn loose of those feelings even when he let her down.
Summer literally ran into Caden Banks at her brother’s frat house when she was looking for him. Bumping into is tall, muscled, tattooed, arrogant, sexy, handsome, outspoken a$$. Still there was something that was kind of bewitching to her about him. Trying to get away from Caden proved to be nearly impossible for Summer as it was like he was everywhere she turned.
Caden and Summer also became friends, real friends. The kind that of friends that think and care about each other. Caden loved the quirky and honesty that he got with Summer and she was really different from all the other girls he had been with. She was all about him, as a person. And he wanted to spend more time with Summer.
The more time that Summer spent with Caden the more she saw what a good guy that he was. She could see that he didn’t play games like Kevin had. When they were together it was fun, she could be herself which made it easy for her to hang out with Caden. But she also wanted too.
But the more time spent together the deeper those feelings began to go. The deeper those feeling got it was only a matter of time before it turned into more than friends. Once they crossed that line there was no containing them. Their chemistry was wanton, combustible and all consuming. But neither one of them ready to make the first move.
Caden questioned whether Summer was over her feelings for Kevin. Summer nervous to call what she felt for Caden love. This leaving both of them in a quandary.
Anti-Stepbrother has everything you want in a romance novel. There is tons of angst, lots of drama, plenty of heart stopping hot, sexy times. This book was truly and amazing read and I cannot wait to read more Tijan!
Author Information
I didn’t begin writing until after undergraduate college. There’d been storylines and characters in my head all my life, but it came to a boiling point one day and I HAD to get them out of me. So the computer was booted up and I FINALLY felt it click. Writing is what I needed to do. After that, I had to teach myself how to write. I can’t blame my teachers for not teaching me all those years in school. It was my fault. I was one of the students that was wishing I was anywhere but at school! So after that day, it took me lots of work until I was able to put together something that resembled a novel. I’m hoping I got it right since someone must be reading this profile! And I hope you keep enjoying my future stories.
