ARROGANT HEIR by Michelle Heard: Blog Tour, Teasers & Mary’s Review

This is my first book from Michelle Heard, so I had now idea going into it how this book would turn out. And WOW what a trail of emotions it will stir up too! Needless to say, I genuinely enjoyed Arrogant Heir…. a lot!! It is a friends to lovers book that takes place at college, Trinity Academy. Mila West & Jase Reyes have been friends with each other for years. Mila was often the subject of Jase’s excessive teasing/flirting through those years too. And while Mila had strong feelings of love for Jase it was an unrequited love. Part of that may have been due to her age and him considering her too young for him at the time. Or maybe it was something as simple as he didn’t see it.

Jase was a womanizer. Never wanting for a date but also not ready to commit to anyone. Additionally, little was he aware of the just how strongly Mila feelings where for him. When she finally got the nerve to tell Jase, he blew her off when he forgot they were meeting up to talk. Sadly, it got worse from there when she did finally see him as he was in the company of another girl. Heartbroken she put space between them and avoided him at all cost. A few years later when she went to college, she ended up sharing a suite at college with friends and that included Jase being there too. There was still this push and pull between them and not knowing what his thoughts are regarding Mila

With the years passing not only was she older but had become a gorgeous young woman. No longer the little girl that he used to think of but holy smoke she was now a knockout. Only confusing him more, where was he when this transformation occurred. It was when Mila was assaulted, and Jase was the one who came to her rescue. Disgusted by what had happened to Mila he was nothing but protective and caring.
