Holy Mother of all cliffies!! Jake Iron’s debut novel Finding Eli has it all drama, suspense, angst, laughs, and whole lot of super-hot sexy times!! Jake’s book is a page turner from the get go and was a quick read. The storyline was fresh, well plotted and good lord was Eli luscious!!
Tara Daniels is a reporter at a well-known newzine founded by Eli Murphy. She’s just found out that her job is being cut unless she can come up with a killer story. Her story…Finding Eli! Eli Murphy is the rich, playboy who has mysteriously disappeared for NYC 3 years ago. Of course, nobody knows where he is or why he left.
Tara sets out on a mission to find Eli. Her modus operandi travel to Colorado, as it’s rumored he may be there, and to follow another clue that he is a huge donut lover. Yep, let’s track him by visiting donut shops!! I laughed until I had tears rolling down my cheeks.
But what happens when Tara comes face to face, or more appropriately is rescued by Eli? And then to make things even more interesting they get snowed in at Eli’s home! Not only do the steamy times begin but, omg, the banter and how perfect these two were together!! Now add to that the added internal struggles of their inner thoughts. Secrets they both have but hold close to their chest.
What will happen when secrets are revealed?
CANNOT say how much I enjoyed this book and can hardly wait for the conclusion!!
