Here with Me is beautiful storyline filled with all kinds of emotions. It’s angsty, it’s sweet, it will have you swooning, yet will definitely tug at your heartstrings… a lot!! In HWM we get the story of Sawyer LaGrange
and Mindy Ray, BFF of his little sister Noel. Growing up they had always been friends but as time went by, they became to mean so much more to each other.

Sawyer LaGrange is a man who has carried the weight of the world on his shoulders for many years. Losing his mom and then his dad a short time later he was thrust into assuming the role as head of the family. Not only
did he look after his siblings, he also picked up the reins of the family business owning and running the Peach Orchard his dad had founded. Once Noel was older, Sawyer joined the Marines wanting to see the world and
life outside the orchard leaving the daily task of running it to her. Yet returning home his time in the Marines had been anything but an adventure. In fact, it had been a nightmare, the opposite of everything he had hoped for. Leaving him scarred, hardened and disillusion with his worth.

Now Mindy on the other hand was delightfully sassy and so full of spirit. She knew what she wanted – what she wanted was Sawyer! And for more than just a friend!! There was no doubt in her mind that he was the love of her life. In spite of being a force to be reckoned with also had her issues with self-confidence. From her childhood days at school being teased about her curly hair and excluded from doing things with the other girls. Sawyer was the one she confided to when he found her crying. Taking her by the hand, reassuring her that he would protect her. That was the moment in which Sawyer became the most important person in her life. The person she could confide in, the person she could trust, the person that she wanted to have more than friendship with. The person she was in love with.

If there was one thing you could say about Sawyer is that he was pragmatic. There was this engrained sense of right and wrong. The ability to do the right thing, especially when his last bit of will power was being tested. That is until the line was crossed. Memories were made with a night of lustful, passionate love and the he left. Coming home Sawyer would try to fight his feelings for the girl he had left behind. But Mindy had other plans which included Sawyer!! She pushed him all the time trying to break through that hard exterior he had put up between them. Awwww, but it was harder for him than she realized. Like the time she jumped in the pond egging him on to join her…. tossing that chink into his armor – finally hopping in with her!! Hot damn was it going places?

As Sawyer was becoming more and more comfortable with Mindy, he was also being tormented by things from his time in the Marines. Things he had no control over. One such incident Talon was with him. He wanted his buddy to do something about it and gave it a name PTSD!! Talon had to conquer his own battel with PTSD. But Sawyer was not ready to hear this yet let alone do anything about it. It was not until one night with a drunken Mindy that everything came to a head!!

Confused and hurt Mindy couldn’t understand him leaving her. Why he would end their relationship. So off to Nashville Sawyer went alone to deal with his problems. Sad, alone and defeated Mindy made the decision it was time to do something that would not only raise her spirits but accomplish something she had always wanted to do. So hastily, off she went to Dallas.

But would this time apart bring them back together?
Furthermore, would Sawyer be in a place to allow Mindy to be part of his life?
