Love a Boss had the perfect touch of angst, deceit, churning emotions and scorching hot sex. Logan was brilliant the way he wove some of his true passions into the novel with references to Star Wars and comic books! Oh yeah, and that Princess Leia fantasy was pretty smoking hot too!! You’ll need to read to find out about the list Theo was always making too. It was a great conclusion for this duet.
Theo and Penny were left in an abysmal hell at the end of Like a Boss. Reeling from the turn of events, Theo is angry, confused and heart broken. Left appalled, shaking my head and thinking WTF, Penny?
Theo and Penny’s journey continues in Love a Bass with a devastated Theo. Don’t think that Penny was any better off because she wasn’t. She’d made an effing deal with the devil, her Dad …. which also included her agreeing to marry Theo’s half-brother, Dex. But there was also a big secret that Penny was still hiding from him.
To make matters even worse Dex would flaunt the impending marriage around Theo. That and the fact that Theo was still part manager of the Lopa but helping Penny at the club made him even more miserable. While working together was pretty messed up it was all the pent up sexual chemistry that was the hardest.
As the tension heightened it was only be a matter of time before something would have to give. And Holy smoke give it did! Like a freakin volcanic explosion …. and damn if there wasn’t some of the hottest beach and car sex too!! Only confusing and complicating things even more.
Would Theo succeed at winning his woman back?
Can Penny go through with this wedding to Dex?
Which man would capture her heart?
