Oh, my freakin heart!! An ending that left me totally dumbfounded. Furthermore wondering where in the blazes this book goes from there.
This is one of the reasons why I read books from Laurelin Paige!! First of all, she has never, ever let me down. Second, nobody writes hot, dominant, dirty men like she does. It also doesn’t hurt they happen to be billionaires and astonishingly handsome too. Scott Sebastian is all of that and more, plus his family also owns SIC.
While Tessa’s boss, Kendra is away, she has decided it’s her time to jump in and pitch sponsorship for an organization dear to her heart. It just so happens that SIC is the Company she has the opportunity to present too. Excited, anxious, and then unnerved when she realizes that the person she is presenting to is Scott Sebastian. The mystery man, she met at the Gala!!
The same man who sparked a flame within her. An attraction that couldn’t be denied.
The same man she spent a night of unfettered, passionate sex with. Just one night and no names.
The same person who left her filled with thoughts of the pleasure that she shared with him.
Now that Scott and Tessa have officially met again…with names and a business proposition to work on. But wouldn’t you know it, Scott is going to just drag this thing out! Not only to make Tess work a bit harder for the sponsorship but for his own selfish reasons. Their chemistry is explosive, hot, heavy and my gosh the sexcapades in Scott’s office!! Yet we also see a softer side of Scott as he pursues Tessa too! ~swoon~
But the ending to this book will leave you with your mouth wide open!!!
Now if I can just figure out what the hell is going on.
Not to mention that waiting for the Man in Love is going to be pure torture for me!!
