Mr. KNIGHTSBRIDGE: Blog Tour, Teasers & Mary’s Review

If there is one thing that I have learned reading romance books it is that Louise Bay always writes a book that leaves me with a smile on my face and a happy heart. Mr. Knightsbridge is no exception. This book totally consumed me and had me glued to the pages from start to finish. If you are looking for a sweet and super sexy book that will leave you swooning this is it!!

Dexter Daniels is a man who is married to his work. His parents had been top of the line jewelry maker who had created fine jewelry for royalty. Growing up he had worked with them in their store and knew it was his lifelong dream to follow in their footsteps. But tragedy struck and both parents died leaving him and his older brother with the business. A business that his older brother ended up selling which fractured the relationship between him and his brother. The one thing that Dexter was determined to do was create his own successful business from scratch!!

Hollie Lumen is a young woman who had assumed the responsibility of taking care of her little sister as well as her parents. She worked hard so that she was able to provide a place to live for both her parents and her little sister. Not only that but she paid her sister’s college tuition. If there was anything Hollie wanted it was for her sister to be able to have a better life than she had and to get them out of the trailer park they lived in. With Her sister almost finished with college Hollie applied for an internship with a jeweler in London. It would be a dream come true for her as she wanted to design jewelry beyond the items she made and sold on Etsy.

Landing an internship in London was just what she needed. Leaving Oregon behind to follow her dream she now has the chance to get the experience she needs to start her own business. No matter what she had to do she was determined to make a success of this opportunity. One of the perks of being in London was a chance to go to a gallery showing. This reception would actually be where they would be selecting finalist for a competition to make a piece of jewelry for the Princess of Finland’s upcoming marriage. Dexter’s parents made the royal crown for her mother, the Queen. This would also be the chance for Dexter to compete for the same honors as his parents. Proving once and for all that he was as talented as his parents.

It was at this showing that Dexter and Hollie met. Seeing her from across the room he was utterly captivated by her beauty. Upon talking with her he was even more wholeheartedly intrigued by her. It would have been easy to make these two an insta-love book, but it was more fun to see the sexy, swoony, hot jeweler have to work and woo Hollie. Needless to say, these two hit the lottery on chemistry!! Not only that, it really touched my heart how Hollie was so gobsmacked by Dexter’s wealth. Yet, she never needed any of that and found it hard to accept when he gifted her.

This book was absolutely perfect, clearly these opposites were attracted!!
