Sacred Sins, the stunning conclusion to the Sins Duet by New York Times bestselling author CD Reiss, is available NOW!
You know what they say about family.
Blood is thicker than water.
The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
A house divided cannot stand.
Margie is the keeper of her family’s secrets.
Six sisters and one brother.
Billions in assets.
Generations of malfeasance.
And one heartbreaking secret kept by three people.
Margie.
Her father, Declan.
And Drew—the man she loves.
You know what they say about secrets.
Three can keep them if two are Drazens.
There’s never been a Drazen who went down without a fight. And there’s never been one who didn’t fight for love.

Excerpt:
“Drew?” I said into the darkness. “Indiana Andrew McCaffrey, stop fucking with me. I’m in no mood.”
My eyes adjusted. I stepped farther in, letting my hand drift over the counter edge. They’d changed it to cheap flipper granite. The cabinets were presswood veneer. But still, I touched them as if they were original Douglas fir and my name was Cin.
“Margaret.”
His voice didn’t surprise me. I didn’t jump ten feet or stiffen with shock when I saw his silhouette against the doorframe. Hearing him was a relief. The binds keeping my shit together weren’t unknotted completely, but they loosened. I hadn’t felt tense in a long time because I was so used to being in a state of taut readiness.
“Indy.”
His stage name came from my lips without a thought.
“I’m glad you came.”
Sixteen years, and he was glad I came. Fuck him.
Mary’s 5 Star Review
CD just blew my mind!!
I feel like I went in through the back door with Sacred Sins. While I haven’t read all of the Drazen series, I do own them. But the one thing I need to do more of is get started on it!! This book was a total show stopper. It is filled with suspense, betrayal, racketeering and star-crossed lovers who are hot as effing hell!!
How could you not love Margie? The things she endured in her life are not only heart breaking but earth shattering! The secrets she lived with. The constant internal battle with the patriarch of the family would have made even a saint psychotic. But the one thing that Margie was, was loyal to her siblings, to her mom.
Indiana Andrew McCaffrey, who also went by Indy and Drew, and Margie are classic example star-crossed lovers. They are passionately and hopelessly in love. Indy was the Yin to her Yang, the butter on her toast and there was nary a secret between them. They lived a life of bliss until going back to LA.
Yet when push came to shove and Margie had to make a choice, he knew it would always be her family. After all, family is thicker than blood Margie was needed by her family. She stayed. Indy left. My heart broke for Margie!! Heartbroken she still stepped up becoming the “fixer” for the family. She spent the next 16 years in LA …alone. Working hard but protecting her family.
Then Jonathan got sick. Jonathan’s illness opened up a million old wounds. Margie was beside herself with the tension between her and her dad creating new battle lines. It was Margie’s turn to get the upper hand but how was she going to do this?
As fate would have it, it was at this time Indy came back to LA. He knew by instinct that Margie would need him… even if she didn’t want him there, especially with Jonathan being ill. Time would prove that he was right. His love, his strength, his support of Margie was exactly what drove her to execute her plans.
Is Margie going to be able to bring her dad to his knees with Indy’s help?
Will the reunion of Indy and Margie rekindle the spark between them?
Sacred Sins has to be one of my favorite reads this year!! You will be totally engaged from start to finish!
Most definitely a must read!!
About CD Reiss
CD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. She still has to chop wood and carry water, which was buried in the fine print. Her lawyer is working it out with God but in the meantime, if you call and she doesn’t pick up she’s at the well hauling buckets.
Born in New York City, she moved to Hollywood, California to get her master’s degree in screenwriting from USC. In case you want to know, that went nowhere but it did give her a big enough ego to write novels.
She’s frequently referred to as the Shakespeare of Smut which is flattering but hasn’t ever gotten her out of chopping that cord of wood.
If you meet her in person, you should call her Christine.
