	There are many things about JD’s writing that tell a great story. To me the one thing that I love, and the most obvious, is his use of wit and humor. Secrets of an Alpha Male, JD’s newest release is a complete K.O.! It’s the story of a cocky, arrogant and sexy as hell MMA fighter. JD’s love of the sport of MMA, in addition to his real-life experience in the sport, is apparent in this book. Connor is a MMF fighter with personality bigger than the state of Texas. Geez, I loved her character…. laid back, easy going and totally the opposite of Connor. A Yoga instructor with a struggling business. Was it fate that intervened when Connor met her or was it those sexy yoga pants that caught his eye and captured his heart? Whatever the heck it was this was a game changer for him. He would do whatever he needed to win her heart. I loved how she was not impressed with Connor’s flash, how she made him work for her. Frankie was definitely the Yin to Connor’s Yang. And holy moly was their chemistry off the chart with some of JD’s hottest sex scenes yet!! Throw in Connor’s jealous ex, Frankie’s uppity sister and a Coach cracking the whip and you have a perfect mix for this 5-star read.
