My best friend is married.

Sure, he’s tall, dark, and handsome. And yes, he has the best ass I’ve ever seen, and I mean ever seen quite literally. You see he mooned me at last year’s Fourth of July barbecue because, like I said, he’s a jerk.
He always has to be the life of the party.
He’s also arrogant.
Imposing.
Rich.
And a playboy.
I’d even go as far as to say he’s a manwhore.
Yet somehow before I know it, this manwhore and I are co-parenting. Living under the same roof. Eating meals together and yes, talking.
Don’t look at me like that—it’s not like I had a choice. Even though I knew every minute would be hell, I had to say yes.
But after two weeks what I didn’t expect is that I’d been wrong about him.
That under his smart-ass exterior, he’s quite charming.
That his arrogance is actually confidence.
And that the sight of his naked body would do really bad things to me.
So yes, I’ve misjudged him. And yes, I like him. Really like him. Although there are times I still think he’s a jerk…I now think he’s a sexy jerk.
And I want more of him.
The question is—does he want more of me?

Kim Karr never fails to deliver a great book and Sexy Jerk is just another great book. She is definitely one of my go to! Gah! My heart has been stolen by super sexy, alpha Nick Carrington. What an incredible book, full of sexy times and good lord if Nick doesn’t turn the heat up…. Sexy Jerk is kind of a misunderstood acquaintances to lovers. I could not put this book down and my only complaint is I just wanted more!!
Tess Winters is back in Chicago after the breakup of her business partner and boyfriend of the last 6 years. Heartbroken, she is trying to move on with her life. Her best friend has just asked her to watch her 3-year-old son, Max, while she and her husband take a belated honeymoon.
Nick Carrington, is a successful builder who has built his million-dollar business from nothing. He is an arrogant jerk, cocky, hot as hell, alpha. The life of the party kind of guy. He’s also a one night kind of guy too and has no desire to be tied down. He has issues that have led him to wall his heart off too.
Now imagine the surprise Tess has when she and Max arrive home at her friend’s house to a naked Nick running to retrieve his clothes. OMG, it was funny, if not embarrassing for Tess. The not so funny part was finding out later that they were both babysitting Max while his parents were gone.
Complicated, yeah, but it also an eye opener for Tess! I mean who doesn’t have a soft spot for a man with a small child. Max and Nick are so adorable together. Tess is beginning to see another side of Nick which she never imagined. He was kind and caring with Max but when he that same thoughtfulness began to include Tess it would erode the thought of him being a “jerk”.
While there is an undeniable attraction it wouldn’t take long for Tess to realize that she had Nick all wrong. This arrogant jerk was fast becoming the sexy jerk and she wanted him. Nick would prove time and again what a natural he was with Max as well as the sweet, kind things he did for Tess too.
Nick’s unrelenting persistence would wear her resolve until Tess was unable to resist him any longer. And holy crap, the pure unadulterated passion that was unleashed is truly erotic and leaves you with a desire for more. Awwww…. what a vixen Tess turns out to be too.
With chemistry over the moon could this be the beginning of something more?
Sexy Jerk is a feel good, fall in love with book! Can hardly wait for the next book of this series!!

Kim Karr is a New York Times, USA Today and Wall Street Journal Bestselling author.
She grew up in Rochester, NY and now lives in Florida with her husband and four kids. She’s always had a love for reading books and writing. Being an English major in college, she wanted to teach at the college level but that was not to be. She went on to receive an MBA and became a project manager until quitting to raise her family.
