SINNER’s GAME by J. Kenner: Release Blitz, Teasers & Mary’s Review

It took a New York minute to for me to be excitedly transported back into the Saint and Sinners World with Sinners Game!! Sinner’s Game is a spin off book from the Saints and Sinners Trilogy. Only this time it is with Ronan and Brandy, besties with Devlin and Ellie. And let me tell you that it takes no time at all for these two to find themselves embroiled in life threatening situations. Furthermore, you are in for one undeniable page turning book… filled with lots of suspense, action, danger, plus there is plenty of sizzling sexy times too. Ronan is a member of Devlin’s Saints Angels, men who work behind the scenes when a dangerous situation arises. Devlin and Ronan’s friendship spans years and as best man at his wedding he will be taking charge of things while Devlin and Ellie, Devlin’s wife are away. Then there is Brandy, best friend to Ellie who is there not only as her friend but as her maid of honor too. With the wedding over and the booze flowing it’s like a game of hide and seek between Ronan and Brandy as they watch each other from afar. That is until Ronan gets the nerve to seek Brandy out. And then there is a kiss between them, one she can’t forget. Was it merely a slipup by Ronan or was there more to it? It’s when Brandy meets a mystery man, whom she later learns is the landlord, that her world starts to spin a bit out of control. A man who acts as though he knows her, seems agitated with her, yet she has no idea who he is. Pushing this all aside when she notices that Ronan is at her home early, there to fix a plumbing issue for her. It’s then that she and Ronan find the same man shot to death in her home. This is when Ronan goes into protective mode with Brandy. Of course Brandy, who is confused by the day’s events quickly agrees to stay with him at his home. After all, Ronan kind of has a special place in Brandy’s heart and being with him has always makes her feel her safest. It’s while staying with Ronan that the sparks really begin to fly!! After flirting around with self-restrained feelings, it’s the titillating nights alone that lead to some lines being crossed. But there is also an understanding that Ronan doesn’t do relationships, for reasons you’ll find out about. But Brandy will take what she can, while she can, broken heart be damned. “Do I want you? Hell, yeah, and more than I want to admit. But that’s as far as it goes. I don’t do relationships. I don’t do courtships or slow builds. Not now. Not anymore.” But things really begin to get complicated when they find a hidden camera in Brandy’s house. Not only that, but there is a Brandy look alike that shot her landlord, and is out there up to who knows what!! So hang in there as the many twists and turns make you feel like you are in a windstorm. One thing is for sure, you’ll fall in love with Ronan!! Absolutely recommend the Saints and Sinners Trilogy to everyone. If you haven’t read the Saints and Sinners Trilogy, it is most definitely a One Click!!
